Faculty of Business Studies (FBS-JU)

This faculty was first just an idea by a renowned professor of Department of Economics, Prof. Abdul Bayes. In the year 2009 along with the help of the then Vice Chancellor Dr.Sharif Enamul Kabir, Prof. Bayes turned the idea into a reality and started the Faculty of Business Studies. He, as the person behind this great idea, got to be the 1st Dean of the Faculty and led it. In the year 2009, the Faculty of Business Studies started its journey with only 2 Departments, Dept. of Finance & Banking and Dept. of Marketing and 2 teachers in each Department.
